TPA and TravelStats: Simple Guide

Tpa Thumbnail

Greed Anarchy gives you handy teleport tools, but you still earn distance by exploring naturally.

How TPA Works

  • Send: /tpa <player>
  • Accept: /tpy <requesterName>
  • Deny: /tpn

You can teleport to a friend only if you’ve walked far enough toward them in the same world. Think of it as your personal “travel bubble.” If they’re outside it, TPA is blocked.

In the Overworld, TPA also requires that you’ve walked beyond spawn first.

Check Your Travel Bubble

Use /travelstats to see how far you’ve gone (per world). These numbers are what TPA uses.

/travelstats
/travelstats world
/travelstats world_nether
/travelstats world_the_end

If TPA says you’re “out of range to the East,” walk farther east, run /travelstats again, then retry.

Why This Design Works

  • Useful utilities, earned reach: Commands like /tpa make regrouping easy, but your teleport distance grows only by actually exploring.
  • Fair, personal progress: Your bubble is yours—no instant map-wide skips. Everyone advances their own reach.
  • Momentum, not shortcuts: Walk to unlock; then use TPA to move smarter, not to bypass the journey.

Quick Tips

  • Overworld first: Walk a few hundred blocks from spawn once so TPA can work there.
  • Head toward your friend: If blocked, walk in their direction to grow your bubble.
  • Diagonals count: “NE” means go both north and east a bit.
  • Re-check: Run /travelstats, then try /tpy <requesterName> again.

Common Messages

  • “Not beyond spawn”: Walk farther from spawn in the Overworld.
  • “Beyond your range (E/NE/etc.)”: Walk more in that direction.
  • “Name mismatch”: Use the exact requester name with /tpy.

Bottom Line

Greed Anarchy’s utilities help you travel together, but exploration unlocks your teleport distance. Walk, check /travelstats, and use TPA within your growing travel bubble.
